MGNREGA Employees of Kashmir Division today hold a Protest at Pratab Park Srinagar and then marched towards the press club Srinagar.
The employee which were in the Protest march were,Programme Officers,MIS Operations,Technical Assistants and GRS's and were demanding for regularisation of their services.
The employees were along with some of the members of EJAC also.
The supporting staff of MGNREGA were also demanding implementation of the SEGC meeting recommendations.
The state president MGNREGA John Mohammed said that we are in the department from years but no one wants to adress our much needed demands and we are in the department working with meager salaries since years.
The members of EJAC also demanded the government for addressing the genuine demands of the MGNREGA EMPLOYEES and threaten the government that if the Demands are not addressed and fulfilled ,EJAC will support the strike of MGNREGA EMPLOYEES in future.
